Always looking to improve its most recent social network and compete more closely with X, formerly known as Twitter, Meta has announced two new features for Threads: post editing and voice publications.

The news was announced by Meta’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, and Instagram’s director, Adam Mosseri, which is directly connected with Threads.
With this new feature, it’s possible to edit a post within a five-minute window after publishing it. There’s also the option to make a voice post, and the platform will transcribe the recording in real-time along with the publication.
“Launching two new features for Threads this week. You can edit a topic for up to five minutes after posting it and share your thoughts using a voice thread. Give it a try and let me know what you think,” said Mosseri.
